Die Erde über mir (2023-24)

Composed for String Quartet, Electric Guitar, Percussion, String Orchestra, Electronics and 6 Actors

A set of electroacoustic pieces grounded in an exploration of distortion processes, found object recordings and lamenting voices. The pieces were made to be intertwined with Mozart’s Requiem, evoking the ritualised context of the mass to create a prismatic exploration of grief and catharsis.
